Schools

  The Washoe County School District includes the Reno/Sparks metropolitan area, Incline Village, Gerlach, Empire and Wadsworth. 

  There are 63 elementary schools, a special education school, 14 middle schools and 13 comprehensive high schools.  High school students may also apply to attend Truckee Meadows Community College High School (a magnet school), Washoe High School (an alternative school), or the Academy for Arts, Careers and Technology which offers a wide range of advanced level occupational classes.

  Additionally, the District sponsors eight public charter schools.

 

Wolf Online Learning ProgramThe WOLF School is a pioneering online school offered by Washoe County School District. We embrace students who need options for their education and we seek to provide the following resources for you so that you can graduate and find success:

Caring Teachers - The WOLF School offers certified teachers who want to see you succeed. And our teachers are available 24/5 (Sunday 8PM – Friday 6PM) every weekday!

High Quality Courses - Our program offers access to a comprehensive list of dynamic, online courses in six subject areas. You can access these courses 100% online for anytime, anywhere learning.

Proven Technology - Our learning platform allows you to learn and communicate with your teachers in a safe, secure environment. We even provide up-to-date progress reports for you and your parents to help you stay on track.

Constant Support - We provide you with a team of support through our highly qualified teachers, teaching assistants, and 24/7 support.
