Hello Parents and Students,

I am the Site Coordinator for, Together Everyone Achieves More utilizing Program, (TEAM UP). This is an exciting program that provides students the opportunity for additional learning time as well as additional enrichment activities.

TEAM UP is funded by 21st Century Community Learning Center program. The design is to provide a safe place for students after school and to give students the extra academics and enrichment programs they need to be a successful, contributing member of society.

• Enriching programs to increase students' academic achievement
• Invested communities to sustaining and broadening programming
• Aligning with regular day to assist school to meet annual yearly progress
• Hire and train quality staff to maintain positive role models

Enrollment is open to all Lois Allen Children in grades 1st - 6th and are invited to join the TEAM UP After School Program. Children may attend the program once a completed registration from is signed and returned to the Site Coordinator. Hours or operation are 3:30 to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday and on half days the hours are 1:20 to 6:30 PM.

The Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows had been offered at Lois Allen Elementary since 2004. Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows at Lois Allen offers many community events, field trips, sports activities, character and leadership development and much more. The Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows at Lois Allen partners with TEAM UP 21st Century academic programs. Tutoring/academics are offered from 4-5PM, followed by a FREE dinner. Dinner is offered from 5-5:30 and is open to the public for children under the age of 18. After dinner nationally accredited Boys and Girls Club programs are run.

• SMART Moves
• Youth Artworks
• Computer Programs

How to Enroll

To enroll your child into our before and after school program, please attend an orientation. Orientations are offered every Tuesday night at 6PM in Lois Allen Elementary School's Multipurpose Room and usually last only 15 minutes.

Hours

When school is in session, we are open at 7-9:15am and after school from 3:30-6:30pm. If there is early release we are here 7-9:15am and after school from 1:20-6:30pm. There are also programs offered over summer, holidays and on track breaks. For more information on these days, please visit www.bgctm.org or feel free to ask.
