Welcome to Mrs. Peterson's Class

I am very eager to begin a new school year with you and your child. This year the students will be a busy fun- filled year. If you need to get a hold of me for any reason, please feel free to call the school at any time, write me a note, or email me, .

Homework

Math homework will be given almost every night except Friday and test days. Each student will be expected to have the work completed and returned the next day. Reading homework will also be expected of each student. Students will read for at least 20 minutes every night. A reading slip will be given to them by their reading teacher and must be signed by an adult and returned to school each day.

Supplies

I am requesting that each student brings the following items to school. A backpack for them to bring to and from school daily, glue stick, 1 package of pencils, pencil top erasers, and two boxes of Kleenex. I am also requesting that children do not bring any toys to school. This will eliminate any problems.

Parent Helpers

I welcome parent helpers in the class, as well as outside the class for field trips.

Newsletter

A newsletter will be sent home every Monday informing you of upcoming events.
