Before your meet as a cluster on the selected date, please complete the following:

• Read in Understanding by Design the following parts of Chapter 7, “Thinking Like and Assessor.”
• Chart on page 149
• Pages 150-167
• Finish any area of the Unit Planning Brainstorm sheet that you were unable to finish at the whole group meeting.

Before our next whole group meeting on December 2nd, please complete the following:

• Read Foner, chapters to be announced.
• A rough draft of the assessment you will use in your March unit plan. (Make sure to consult the Unit Plan Requirements/Rubrics when working on your assessment. It would also be helpful to refer to Figure 7.3 in UbD on page 151.)
