Summer Institute 2009: Lessons by Essential Question |
| Essential Questions have been found to facilitate student thinking and lead to greater student engagement in the classroom. A good EQ will address the big ideas of history, allowing students to think broadly about the subject and discuss multiple interpretations. The TAHP Summer Institute 2009 encouraged the implementation of Essential Questions in the classroom by requiring participants to prepare lesson plans that address each of the questions presented. |
