Parent Surveys Are on The Way

This Friday, May 23rd you will receive a parent survey that is needed to complete our Family Engagement Plan.  The Family Engagement Plan is evaluated each year by district officials and counts toward our 5 Star rating for the state.  If you could please donate 5-10 minutes of time to complete the survey, add helpful comments and return with your child-we would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!!

2014-2015 Class Placements

Letters about class placements and a Staff List were sent home last Friday with all students in Grades K-5 regarding placements for next year's classrooms.  This letter details that contact must be made with Mrs. Thoroughman by Friday, May 23rd if parents/guardians have significant and compelling information that will help make appropriate placements for students in a new class.   Requesting a particular teacher places your child's current teacher and the principal in a challenging spot if we are unable to honor the request due to the need to balance classes, ensure equality and exercise professional judgement.  We will do our very best to build balances classes that encourage academic achievment for all students.  Please make sure to return the bottom portion of the green letter sent home and make contact with Mrs. Thoroughman if you have information about your child that will assist in placement.
