You can help CRES PTA raise money so that they can put an Activboard in each classroom by requesting and using a scrips card. The card is free. Contact Lisa Garcia or Jennifer Farfsing at 689-2600 or e-mail them for a card. For every purchase made at Jamba Juice, Raley’s, Save Mart Supermarkets, and Scolari’s the school gets a percentage of the purchase. See the side menu or here for more information.

NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT CRES

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following programs:

Playground Support-Help supervise some games and library time for our children during recess. Staff support will be onsite. Times are limited to recess times, but days are flexible.

Math Paths- Receive great online training to tutor students one-on-one at your convenience and your desired location as this program is District wide. Some tutoring is needed in Caughlin Ranch, but other schools may need your help as well

Read & Succeed-Receive great training online to help students one-on-one at your convenience. This is a district wide program so you can tutor at CRES or almost any other school in WCSD.

Neighborhood Watch-Are you interested in joining a Neighborhood Watch phone tree? No volunteer time is necessary, just a commitment to helping ensure our neighborhoods remain safe places for our families.

If you would like to sign up or need more information contact Alicia Hoadley, our PTA President, at caughlinpta@yahoo.com

RENAISSANCE PLACE HOME CONNECT

Our PTA has provided funds to update our Accelerated Reader program to Renaissance Place. Students are now able to login from home and view their AR points, AR tests they have taken, and their scores for each AR test. Go to https://Hosted209.renlearn.com/261049/HomeConnect/Login.aspx.

Thanks to our PTA, students also have access to over 100,000 AR tests. To search through all the books that are now on our AR list go to http://www.arbookfind.com/default.aspx.
