Budget Information
The Washoe County School District is committed to maintaining a high level of fiscal responsibility that supports student learning. Budget decisions are based on the priorities in the District's strategic plan, "Envision WCSD 2015 - Investing In Our Future." The District is required by state law to prepare an annual budget, which is impacted by local, state, federal, and private funding sources.
In March 2012, the Washoe County School District was awarded with the Cashman Good Government Award from the Nevada Taxpayers Association for its budget practices and the community input process during the budget process. Click here to read more.
