Book Drive on Saturday, Aug. 27 Supports School's Reading Program
What: Book drive to support Echo Loder Elementary School's Just One Campaign
When: Saturday, Aug. 27 Where: Serendipity Books at 507 Main St. in Fallon, Nevada
Why: Two moms whose children are making a difference in the world by serving in the military are hosting the book drive to make a difference in the lives of local students. The books will support the literacy efforts at Echo Loder Elementary School. The school's goal is to collect 15,000 books this year. The donated books will help ensure that every child has 25 books at home so they can continue to read after school hours.
