The program involves an evening parent/student orientation event in January, along with four 1-day workshop for students. Each workshop is held at a different location and covers topics such as team building, law enforcement, communications, government and life after high school. One workshop is held each month in January, February, March and April.

The students also plan and coordinate a variety of community service projects as part of a team. A graduation event for all the students and families is held in April.
