Community Asked to Pack the Truck for Echo Loder Elementary's Reading Campaign
What: Pack the Truck Book Drive
When: Friday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: UNR College of Education, first floor
Why: The Pack the Truck book drive will help support Echo Loder Elementary School's Just One Campaign, a unique program to encourage students to read and increase literacy at the school. The school's goal is to collect 15,000 books this year. The donated books will help ensure that every child has 25 books so they can continue their reading efforts at home.
