Sparks Middle School Compassion Fund Accepting Donations
 
Reno, NV (Oct. 23, 2013) - In the aftermath of the tragic shooting at Sparks Middle School on October 21, 2013, a fund has been established at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada. The SMS Compassion Fund, is accepting tax-deductible monetary donations. The SMS Compassion Fund will provide support for and to the victims, students, staff, families and Sparks Middle School in the wake of the tragedy.
 
Disbursements will be advised by representatives of the Washoe County School District and the City of Sparks, under the oversight of the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, to assure the funds are distributed to best meet needs as they are identified.
 
To contribute to the SMS Compassion fund:
