*If you were unable to attend the 6th grade orientation, or you are going to be a new student to Depoali in the Fall, please check out the information below. We have put together a lot of important information, along with the course offerings we have for incoming 6th graders in the following Power Point:

Dates to Remember

*May 14: Map Testing Begins

*June 1: Students: the end of the year reward is coming up on Friday June 1st.  You will need 20 signatures in weeks 5-10 (April 30th-May25th) to participate as well as no more than 5 tardies.

~8th grade students: You will be going to a private Depoali only pool party featuring a DJ, prizes, drawings, contests, BBQ lunch and an 8th grade graduation gift.  You will have time to swim and socialize.

~7th grade students: You will be staying at school for Field Day where you will attend different stations including inflatable obstacle course, water games, tug of war contests and more.

~6th grade students:  You will be here at school for Medieval events and a feast lunch.

We want every Depoali Diamondback to attend! Make sure you are earning 5 signatures a week (1 can be from home) and getting to all classes on time and prepared. If you earn a major referral or are sent to the office to Mrs. Perkins or Ms. Williams due to behavior, you will need to earn 40 signatures.    

*The Washoe County School District is launching online registration for parents this Spring. You will no longer have to fill out separate packets of information for each of your children! You can now do it from the convenience of your own home, or at any computer with access to the internet. Online registration is only for existing students in WCSD. New students must register with the front office of your child’s school. Online registration will be available for Depoali Middle School beginning April 4, 2012. You can access the link by logging on to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and clicking the link under “District Messages.” For more information or help with online registration, please go to http://www.washoe.k12.nv.us/schools/register.
