Explore this ever-expanding trove of environmentally conscious teaching tools. Search for lesson plans, Web sites, and educational resources by topic, grade level, cost, or location. Topics include air/climate, energy conservation, habitat/ecosystems, sustainability, waste/recycling, water and wildlife.
 
Waste Management and Discovery Education have partnered to engage students in learning about the environment through this interactive web site. Teachers will find standards-based lesson plans, tools and hands-on activities to enliven classroom learning and at-home extensions.
 
Green Teacher is a quarterly magazine that helps youth educators enhance environmental and global education inside and outside of schools. Each issue contains:
 
  • Ideas for rethinking education in light of environmental and global challenges.
  • Practical articles and ready-to-use activities for various age levels from 6-18.
