I am a northern Nevada native and proud graduate of WCSD schools. I have worked in the field of communications and media since I was sixteen years old.
I worked for WCSD as a video producer for two years and joined the Communications Department in 2010. I specialize in social media and internet-based communications. I feel it is important to engage our neighbors in every way possible, and thanks to tools like Facebook, we now have a unique opportunity to listen to our parents, students, and community members. The work we do in educating the future residents of Washoe County is important to protecting our region and maintaining an economically and socially viable community.
I love the outdoors and try to take every opportunity to go out rock climbing, hiking, hunting, and camping. I have discovered that Washoe County’s unique location provides some of the best places for these activities in the United States.
