Autism Programs

WCSD believe in the capability of every student to learn, grow, and succeed. Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are thriving in our schools. Dedicated and knowledgeable teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and related service personnel recognize and respect the unique personalities and needs of each student, and deliver individualized, high-quality instruction.

WCSD Serving Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Their Families

The Washoe County School District recognizes the need for specialized classrooms for some students with disabilities based on individual needs as recommended by IEP teams.
