Infant / Toddler Program Enrollment
Qualifications:
1. You must meet low-income guidelines.
2. You must be enrolled in a local high school (Priority is given to those enrolled at Washoe, Wooster, and Hug High Schools).
3. You must agree and adhere to the requirements of the program (See below).
Requirements
To Enroll
You must have the following on file BEFORE your child attends:
1. Birth Certificate (or birth confirmation issued by the hospital)
2. Social Security Card
3. Current Immunization Record
Once enrolled
You must abide by the requirements to maintain your spot in the program.
1) Maintain a 2.0 GPA
2) You MUST turn in monthly progress reports.
3) Pass ALL classes each semester
4) You child MUST attend school regularly, at least 85% of the scheduled time.
5) Attend weekly study hall sessions
6) Attend 2 parenting classes per month
7) Attend 3 lunch groups per month
8) Treat teachers with respect
9) Participate in 2 home visits during the school and weekly summer visits for families returning in the fall.
10) Participate in 2 Parent/Teacher Conferences each school year
11) Maintain current “Well child Checks” and shot records with the program
12) Participate and complete ongoing assessments, including but not limited to Health, nutrition, and developmental assessments
