TEAM UP
Together Everyone Achieves More Utilizing Programs
  
WCSD TEAM UP provides engaging afterschool programming to 22 elementary and middle schools with over 3,300 students, 70 community partners, and 110 academic classes, 120 recreational and learning activities. Is an existing program that provides students in grades K-8 with an opportunity for additional learning times as well as extra enrichment activities. It is an opportunity for students and their families to continue to learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day has ended. Programs are funded through grants, community contributions and partnerships. The primary funding source is from 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grants.
 
21st CCLC was re-authorized under Title IV, Part B, of the No Child Left Behind Act, to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for children attending low performing schools. Tutorial services and academic enrichment activities are designed to help students meet local and state standards.
