Spring Fling

Shouts of excitement rang loudly across the playground as the pie filling from the whipped cream pie thrown by a 6th grader splattered across Mr. Zach's face. This was just one of many teriffig moments at our recent Spring Fling event.

The event was a huge success with children weaving in and out of the food and cotton-candy lines; their faces plastered with blue cotton candy while their parents enjoyed sampling the many delicious foods that had been prepared for the night.

Students and parents were invited to enjoy a wide range of activities from traditional, games like cake walk to new and exciting activities such as the Tae Kwon Do demonstration. The martial artists drew a large crowd of amazed students who cheered with excitement as the martial artists shattered wooden boards and demonstrated a variety of other jaw-dropping techniques.

One of the tastiest events of the night was the salsa contest! Over 20 parents had entered their favorite salsa recipes which Mrs. Caviglia and a panel of judges enjoyed tasting. Click here to get the winning salsa recipe for yourself!

Our Spring Fling this year was a lot of fun and we hope you will join us with your family for the event next year!
