REPORTS WITH WORKS CITED
Works Cited Page
In MLA-style reports, the Works Cited page is an alphabetical list of all of the sources you
have cited.
To format a list of works cited:
- Begin
the Works Cited section on a new page, continuing the page numbers from
the report.
- Use
the same side margins as in the report, and use double spacing.
- Create
a header with the report author’s name and page number aligned at the
right margin; for example, Sanders 4. Press ENTER 1 time after typing the
page number.
- Center
and type the title Works Cited in initial caps approximately 1 inch from
the top of the page.
- Arrange
the list alphabetically by author’s last names.
- Begin
each entry at the left margin, and indent carryover lines 0.5 inch (use a
hanging indent).
