What is the Nevada Young Readers’ Award?

The Nevada Young Readers’ Award was established in 1987.
The award was created to give Nevada students the chance
to decide what books they think are worthy of a statewide
award. This award is designed to encourage students to read
for personal satisfaction and to become familiar with authors
of contemporary fiction.
