| In 2009, the Nevada legislature officially restructured Nevada's RPDPs. The Northwest Regional Professional Development happily welcomes the teachers and administrators from Carson, Douglas, and Lyon Counties, who joined us as a result of this restructure. |

Washoe County School District Since its beginning in 2001, the Northwest Regional Professional Development Program has worked with the Washoe County School District. Washoe County has 101 schools that are currently served by the NWRPDP. It is the second largest school district in the state of Nevada.
