Welcome to Mount Rose Elementary School! I am very excited at the opportunity to be a part
of your child's most important educational years! Our main goal for the upcoming school year is to educate every child to his or her full potential and to maximize opportunity to achieve the highest of all standards.

Our staff is dedicated to providing a learning environment that is positive, challenging,
supportive, and one that will offer every child the opportunity to succeed. We are very
fortunate to have had our building "revitalized" this year and are excited to be able to provide a safe, orderly, state of the art environment to educate your child this year! We have been working diligently this summer to assure each n amazing year ahead. Your child will receive a school calendar on the first day of school…keep this somewhere safe and refer to often, as it is a snapshot of the year ahead.

As you know, a child's education does not begin or end at school. Every waking moment is a
learning experience of some kind. The majority of educational experience takes place in the
home or at school and is most successful when everyone is actively involved.
Communication between home and school is essential. If you have any questions, please
don't hesitate to contact us. We are a team and need to work together so we can help your
child become successful in reaching maximum development each year. I encourage you to
come join the fun and be an active parent in our PFA (Parent Faculty Association).
