Welcome Back to Mount Rose ES!

      We cannot wait to begin another fabulous school year with your children!  Let me share some exciting news with you about our summer work: the upstairs restrooms had a beautiful extreme makeover; the building has been cleaned from top to bottom; we have three new staff members (Ms. Ebel-Wheat/Early Childhood; Mrs. Castillo/TWI/K; and Mrs. Grady/1^st grade); and our staff is eager to greet  students on Aug. 31^st.  I am so proud of our school for making AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) last year with a High Achieving- Growth designation.

   We will continue to implement our school wide positive behavior support program.  We had such great results last year. Our students’ have learned the 3 B’s and use them consistently: Be Respectful; Be Responsible; and Be Safe are the foundation for our SWPBS. Look for your child to bring home either Paw Pats or Cub Purrfects soon!

      Please stop by the office to introduce yourself if you are new to our school. We would love to meet our new families. We hope to see you all at our Back to School Night on  Sept. 29^th, 2009-2010 will the best year yet!
