Building Relationships

The following are best practices and resources for building relationships with families.  These activities help your school staff 'get to know' families and establish relationships.  When thinking about implementing practices to build relationships with families ask yourself if the event provides an opportunity for staff and parents to talk with each other, recognize families by name and discuss their child.
