1. Pine is not responsible for lost or stolen
2. IPhones/Smart phones - Please do not flash your phone around for others to see
3. Make sure your phone is locked up or secure with you and make sure your locker is shut (sometimes they are not shut all the way).
4. Never leave it unattended. Never loan it out.
5. Place a locator on your cell if at all possible

Safe ZonesA new program called “Safe Zones” has been implemented in all Washoe County Middle Schools due to the increase in gang activity, bullying, violence to students by other students, and lack of knowledge by the middle school student population of knowing where to go to receive help. We have Safe Zones in the library, counseling office, nurse, and main office. Student can access these locations in the morning and at lunch.
A Huge Thank You:Pine Middle School would like to thank HOPE worldwide of Reno and the following sponsors, WalMart, Office Depot, Costco, Sherwin Williams, Atlantis, Raleys and several private donors for donating 500 backpacks to the students of Pine Middle School.
