The Washoe County School District is responsible for public primary and secondary education in Washoe County, which includes the Reno/Sparks metropolitan area, Incline Village, Gerlach, Empire and Wadsworth. There are approximately 62,390 children attending 92 schools throughout the county. Our purchasing activities are governed by policies from our Board of Trustees and Nevada Revised Statutes 332.
