Please contact Mr. Pereos for any information: dpereos@washoe.k12.nv.us Dear Reed High Community,                 This year Fuzed is participating once again in a program called Operation Christmas Child. It is a program that fills shoe           boxes with toy/goods to ship overseas to be delivered to children in third world countries. It has been done for years throughout           our community in churches and various schools including Reed High. You can fill up your shoebox for about $10 at any dollar           store; it's as cheap and simple as that. To some of these children it may be the only gift that they ever receive in their lifetime. Just          imagine the looks on the children's faces when they open up their box and see all the toys inside. Think about it, you could be the          reason for that smile and for making their days a little bit brighter. This event occurs every year during Christmas time, but since          the boxes need to be shipped out quickly and in time for Christmas, we need all shoe boxes turned in before Friday November 19th. We encourage you to be a part of giving an heartfelt event. Here's what you can do to help : • Bring in a toy • Bring a shoe box • Contribute money (it cost $7 to ship each box) • Bring in an already filled up box                                              ∗Please drop off any sort of donations to Mr. Pereos in Room 209 before Friday November 19th.                                              ∗ You can eeven include a note with your address for the child who receives your box to be able to write back to you thanking you for their precious gift.
