Course Book - World Languages
Reed High School is committed to appreciating and celebrating diversity and
multiculturalism. Some of the most popular classes at Reed High School
are in the World Language Department. The department is made up of teachers
with many different backgrounds and experiences. Some of the teachers
have lived in different countries, studied in different countries, and
even taught in different countries.
The Reed High School World Language Department offers classes in Spanish,
French, Japanese, and English as a Second Language. We offer classes
at all levels from beginner to advanced placement (AP). Students can take
Spanish or French all four years of high school and even earn college
credit by passing the AP Exam. After completion of the program at Reed,
many of our former students have gone on to major or minor in languages in college.
