Spanish Springs Elementary Rezoning
On October 25, 2011 Washoe County School District staff was directed to establish a committee to analyze student capacity distribution and possible rezoning and/or capacity increases for the Spanish Springs area elementary schools. The specific purpose of the committee is to identify the best long range solution(s) to manage student enrollment growth in the region through either rezoning or capacity increases or a combination of both. The results will be presented to the school communities in the fall of 2012 and to the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees in December 2012 for implementation, as necessary, for the 2013-14 school year.
