1. Make your child's attendance at school a priority.
2. Talk to your child's teacher to check his/her school progress.
3. Make sure that your child has a scheduled homework time.
4. Check daily to see that homeworkassignments are brought home and completed ahead of time.

Sierra Vista Administrative Responsibility

1. Help staff be aware of the importance of the assigned student work for required curriculum goals and objectives.
2. Lead the communication of the school program objectives and individual teacher expectations on a frequent basis.
3. Monitor assignments required of students and provide staff development as needed.
4. Collaborate with and support staff members to continually re-evaluate classroom and school wide programs.

Sierra Vista Student Responsibility

1. Bring required materials and assignments to class daily.
2. Try to understand all assignments. Ask for help when needed.
3. Turn in all class and homework assignments.
4. When absent from school, get all work that was missed.
5. Have a positive attitude.
6. Enjoy learning.

 

Sierra Vista Teacher Responsibility

1. Tell students all expectations of all assignments.
2. Assign, check, grade, and return student work in a timely manner.
3. Let parents know expectations for their child's work, behavior and grades and keep them informed of changes.
4. Keep parents involved as an active member of their child's education.
