Gifted and Talented Program--This year eight SSHS juniors and seniors took advantage of the Internship Class for which they will earn a half credit. Interns spend 86 hours with a mentor in the community who works in the career field in which the intern has an interest. Past interns have called the class life-changing in that it helps them determine their college major. Another benefit is the time and money they save because they have found their passion before starting college.

This class is open to juniors and seniors who take Honors/AP courses and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA or to those who are certified Gifted and Talented.
