More About the Cougar Booster Club




Dear Spanish Springs High School Parents,

Thank you so much for expressing interest in the Cougar Booster Club at SSHS. We have separated our activities into four committees and have included a summary of the responsibilities of each. Please respond via email (sshscougarboosters@yahoo.com) with the selection of the committee(s) you would like to participate in.

1) AWARDS & PARENT NIGHTS

Preparing refreshments, setting up and manning tables at the following: Registration, Open House, Academic Awards Nights, Senior/Parent Night, Freshman Orientation & Registration, Senior Scholarship Night, and Teacher Appreciation Day.
This committee provides a great opportunity for those of you who like to bake, decorate and/or be the hostess. Yours gifts would be greatly appreciated!

2) SCHOLARSHIPS/FUNDRAISING (For more info about SSHS Scholarships click link on the right)

Our general fund provides as much as $6500 worth of senior scholarships at the end of each school year. We raise funds through partnerships such as Save Mart, Target, & Sparks Florist; as well as special events. We also provide funding for other groups like Academics Olympics, ROTC, Awards Nights, and other requests.

This is a perfect venue for those who have a great value for scholarships and/or like to network with community partners and look for opportunities throughout the school year to promote these partnerships through literature.

We are so privileged to have this amazing party every year for our graduating seniors. Being involved with the planning details and or- ganizing of this grand event, and/or just helping out on the night of the party is a huge gift to our graduates and future graduates!
