After-School Programming

• We are currently not accepting anymore applications for the after school program.

Sparks Middle School offers FREE after-school academic support, credit-recovery, enrichment, and health & fitness programs.

Students can begin to register for the program two weeks prior to the beginning of a new grading period. Registration deadlines are as follows:

• October 27, 2011
• January 20, 2012
• March 23, 2012

When the program reaches capacity, priority will be given to credit deficient and academically struggling students.

Programming classes being offered throughout the course of the 2011-2012 school year includes, but is not limited to the following:

Math	Cooking & Nutrition	Robotics
Reading	Entrepreneurship	Leadership
Writing	Engineering	Movie Club
Multi-Subject Tutoring	Sierra Nevada Journeys	Running Club
Science Discovery	Computer Skills	Bridge Club
Dissection Clubs	Computer Lab Free-Time	Movie Making
Sports & Recreation	KIWANIS Bicycle Club

Bussing home from the after-school program is provided, free of charge, to Sun Valley, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
