The goal of the Washoe County School District's Diversity Scholarship Program for Educational Support Professionals is to provide our current classified employees a pathway into the teaching profession. The District has a compelling interest in increasing the pool of ethnically diverse, minority teachers; therefore, this grow your own initiative will benefits our employees, District and most importantly, our students. If you have been admitted into, or currently enrolled in a teacher's certification program with a university or college, this program is for you!
