High School Signature Academies

Thank you for your interest in the High School Signature Academies! Many of our Signature Academies are currently in their final development phases, therefore not all information is available for all Academies. Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available, but please e-mail questions or request additional information at any time.

- Application Deadline - The priority deadline has passed but applications are still being accepted on an academy-by-academy basis while space allows.

- Application Form - Required for all applicants.
- Statement of Interest - Required for all applicants.
- Recommendations - Two are required for all applicants. H.O.P.E. Academy at Reed High School applicants are required to have three recommendations.
- Auditions - only required for Performing Art Center at Damonte Ranch High School applicants.
- Selection Process - Applications will be reviewed by a committee at each Signature Academy. Placement will be determined by lottery if the number of qualified candidates exceeds the number of available spots. Up to 25% of spots at each Signature Academy will be reserved for non-zoned students. Admissions decisions are expected to be mailed out to students by March 3, 2012.

Presentations are being scheduled at each middle school to provide students and parents with additional information regarding the new High School Signature Academies. 8th grade students are encouraged to attend the presentations and apply soon as space is limited!
