Developing a web site using a template driven system.
For a template driven web site the initial build is already created giving you a template to build on. The system we are using is called Pagelime. Pagelime allows us to build a simple template, upload it to the school's file directory and at that point the page can be edited through Pagelime's content management system. Pagelime's content management system is web based meaning there is no software to load and it can be edited from any computer with an Internet connection.
Start Simple
We provide a very simple three page template designed to get your site up as soon as possible. After you become comfortable with the way Pagelime works and want to take the next step in making your schools site bigger you will be able to access the files through the FTP program and edit them through Pagelime.
Where do I start?
Contact the web development department at mmorris@washoeschools.net. We will set up the main structure and provide you with the username and password required to populate and maintain your site. Note: The site administrator (Principal) is the only one that can make this request.
