Change in Placement
What if a child needs to be moved to another special education program within the district, such as resource to SIP?
If you feel a child would benefit from a different placement, consult with your school psychologist and program consultant (PC). A Change in Placement Checklist can be found on CSI (SES CK4). Be sure to collect progress monitoring data that accounts for the implementation of strategies and interventions prior to any consideration of change of placement.
