FBA
What is a FBA
A FBA is a systematic process of observing behaviors across a variety of setting and activities during the school day in order to understand the communicative intent of the student's behavior. This information helps the IEP team understand why students behave in certain way, e.g. to "escape" tasks, to "avoid" tasks, to obtain attention, etc.
