Visually Impaired
What is visually impaired?
A visually impaired assessment may be requested for a child on an IEP who has difficulty with vision. The difficulty must impact class work and the child must qualify for these services.
How do I refer a child I think is visually impaired?
Fill out the pre-assessment form (SSS-F039) for visual impairment. Send the form along with a copy of a current eye report from the child's doctor.
