School Improvement Resources for Teachers:

This section is a collection of tools and resources to assist sites in addressing the factors that affect school quality and student learning.  It can be used as a follow-up to support workshops and curriculum development by teachers for teachers.   The purpose of this site is to: a) incorporate essential learning concepts throughout the curriculum (teach, assign, practice, assess, review); b) ensure that state assessments are truly measuring student abilities, knowledge, and understanding; and c) offer collaboration time to grade level experts for planning and idea gathering. Teachers may follow the link below to locate effective strategies that impact student learning through core content standards and focused essential understandings.
