Diabetic Sense

The District offers the Diabetic Sense program through Catalyst Rx to all eligible PPO and EPO plan members. By taking an active role in your care and working with your health care team, you can take control of your diabetes. Diabetic Sense is focused on helping you achieve appropriate control of your diabetes through consistent blood glucose self-monitoring, support and education. This program assists you with your therapy compliance and help to improve your quality of life through valuable benefits, products, and services.

Diabetic Sense is available to you as part of your pharmacy benefit coverage at no additional cost to you.
Here is a list of diabetic services and supplies covered by the program:
 
- Diabetic supplies (provided with either no co-payment or at the preferred co-payment level)
- Convenient home delivery
- Free meter exchange
- Toll-free support hotline to diabetes specialists and registered pharmacists during normal business hours
- Quarterly telephone testing reminders
- Free educational materials
- Reorder reminders so you always have the supplies you need on hand

Race Reimbursement Program

WCSD Wellness offers reimbursement* for completing race events.  Please submit your Race Reimbursement Request form with proof of registration, payment amount and completion of race (race time). You may be reimbursed (for up to 2 races per calendar year) according to the chart below.

*All reimbursements will be paid through your regular payroll checks. You must have District health insurance and submit race documentation no later than June 1, 2013 for year 2012 races. Races completed before year 2012 are no longer eligible for reimbursement.
