Mrs. Barainca was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Arizona State University and then earned credits for her teaching certificate at the University of Nevada, Reno. She also received her Masters in Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is certified to teach both science and math. She ran the Jump Start program for the classes of 2010 & 2011. She currently oversees the Tutoring Center, located in the Career Center on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays afterschool.

She has two children that are 7 and 9 years old that attend Hidden Valley Elementary School. She enjoys both water and snow skiing, camping, playing soccer, and working out.

After being discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in the late 60's, Mr. Lynch owned and operated a mill works for about 20 years.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and history from UNR and later obtained his  masters degree in technology from Lesley College.

I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Master’s of Science in Physics.  Since graduating, I have taken additional courses in mathematics and secondary education.  I’ve enjoyed my four years here at Wooster.  In addition to teaching classes, I also advise the National Honor Society.  When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking and gardening.

Mr. Nolan is 47 years old and the father of two boys and one girl ages 5, 10, and 13. He received his math teaching certificate in 1984, his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1987, and his Masters in Mathematics in 1992, all from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has taught for 25 years, all at Wooster High, and has been one of the Wooster ski coaches for the past 21 years. His hobbies include tennis, skiing, spending time with my kids, reading, and working out.

Katherine Roper received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2000 and is currently working on her Masters in Mathematics at the University of Nevada, Reno.

During her time at Wooster she has coached Cross Country and Track and been on the Technology and Scholarship Committees. She grew up in Montana, loves the outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, listening to music and doing math!

Mr. Woodside received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from UNR in 2008, after attending two other colleges out of state. He loves to work with his students on a daily basis and loves the challenges faced by a first year teacher. He has helped out with the JV Baseball team, as well as the Wooster summer baseball team.

He is married and has a dog named Sophie. He loves having the summer to fish and golf and enjoys hunting in the fall and winter.
