Mary Geyer graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and a minor in Italian in 1977. She also received her Masters of Education-Foreign Language Teaching Specialty from UNR in 1990. She has taught all levels of French and Italian for the past 29 years in the Reno area (private and public schools). Mrs. Geyer currently teaches Italian levels 1-4 and the IB/AP French course. She continues to advise Italian Club and is currently Department Leader for the Humanities Department.

Kathleen Nichole Baucom received her Bachelor of Education and French degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006, and her teachingcertification for K-12 in 2007.  Miss Baucom was born and raised in Sparks, Nevada, and also lived in Pau, France, for two years to go toschool.  Miss Baucom now teaches at Wooster High School, where she has been since the 2006 school year.  At present, Miss Baucom is working on her Master's Degree in TESOL (ESL) and French, and she is also working on an endorsement in Spanish!

My name is Nancy Galt I have been teaching at Wooster for three years in Special Education and ESL. After completing a ten years in corporate America, I decided to go into teaching because I enjoyed the training and teaching aspects of my business career. Much of my free time was spent volunteering with young people and working with the Foster Care Program of San Diego. After my last position with Verizon as a Sales Coach, I did full-time subbing for a year and decided to complete my teaching credential upon my return to Reno in 2003. Teaching is the most rewarding job I have ever had and I thoroughly enjoy working with the culturally diverse staff and students at Wooster High School. We truly have a community which prepares the students for life after high school and gives them a hope for their future endeavors. I look forward to many more rewarding years at Wooster High School.

John Martino graduated from Hug High School with an Honors Diploma in 1997. He attended the University of San Diego on a Dean's Scholarship and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and a Specialization in Education. He has taught a total of five years in both Reno and Madrid, Spain. Currently, he acts as an advisor for the Hispanic Cultures Club.

I come from a diversified school background, as well as a wide educational background including private school. I have been teaching for over 13 years.  My background includes a K-8 teacher certification, with experience teaching the primary grades at at-risk elementary schools. I  taught for a year at a Washoe County School District Charter school.  During that time I received my secondary teachers certification and taught sixth-grade social studies and seventh-grade Honors English.  I am highly qualified to teach middle school social studies and middle school English. 

I currently teach ELL students at Wooster High School.  I have an ESL Endorsement and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Literacy Studies.  My undergraduate degree is in Broadcast Communications, and I earned degrees in both Journalism and English while attending undergraduate and graduate school. I am also a Reading Specialist for grades K-12.
